Day 321. 1970's Computer Memory and a £1 coin....

Back in the 1970's core memory was the fastest and most reliable computer memory available. This section of core memory shows the individual toroidal magnets that actually store 1 bit of information each. A UK £1 coin placed in the picture to provide scale.
In the picture is 10 x 11 bits of stored information..... about 14 bytes. Not even enough to store my name.
