Greater Knapweed

What a mild autumn it is turning out to be...even if it is a bit violent at times. In just one section of the nature reserve this afternoon - with high winds, but only a little rain - I found 25 species of plants in flower. As well as this Greater Knapweed, they included Clustered Bellflower, Small Scabious, Hedgerow Cranesbill and even Cowslip! Very unseasonal!
