Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

On hold.

We left Kirkcaldy on Sunday and headed south to Edinburgh for a few days, to celebrate my big birthday plus 1, and to give yet another talk on the Resurrection Men.

There should have been photographs of the Old Town, the New Town, the Castle, the torrential rain, the College of Surgeons' Museum, the light show at the Botanical Gardens and more. Sadly, there were to be none, my newly charged camera battery having mysteriously expired overnight and the charger having been left back at home.

We are now safely returned only to find that the launch of the planned NASA (Newburgh Amateur Space Administration) mission to Mars has been delayed indefinitely due to a flock of starlings having set up home on the main communication module.
