Little Boat

Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound, and I made the journey East back to Carnoustie.

First we had a quick visit to Bellanoch on the Crinan Canal, but it was just a bit too wet to go for a wander along the canal bank. We enjoyed the view over the water towards the marina and Crinan Ferry before we had to leave for home.

On the way home we stopped at Inverary and had a wander round. This little boat, which is so often seen moored out in the loch, was tied up at the quayside and provided me with some colour on another rainy day/

We carried on towards home, making a short detour from the Perth to Dundee road to go to The Tufted Duck at Rait for a lovely lunch and a blether with the proprietor.
