A DAY OF FUN......

... 21st Nov Back Blip...

Yes you are seeing correctly, apart from the "hard yards" in our Prostate Cancer Support Group we have time for some fun as well!!

One of our Board members has a superb yacht, and about once a year he takes the Board members for a spin around Sydney Harbour. And today was it, what a wonderful day. The weather was just perfect about 25degC and a light NE breeze blowing. Whilst we stayed on motor it enabled us to traverse in and out of the many coves around this magnificent harbour.

The extras show a couple of other shots taken,  the first one is looking back on the newly opened Barangaroo Point Reserve which we showed on our Sydney Harbour walks.
The second extra shows I suppose is what you would call a boat "grave" and restoration point on White bay. The smaller boat to left fronted in is in fact the 1902 historic Lady Hopetoun steam launch, check the video.
The third extra shows the modern Anzac bridge which replaced the old Glebe Island Bridge an electric swing bridge built in 1903 and closed 2nd December 1995 when the new Anzac Bridge opened.

We even managed to get caught by a rubber duckie full of Navy police entering restricted waters near a Navy dock on Woolloomooloo Bay!! Oh well, just made for a fun day, but pleasing to see with all the terrible world issues presently they were right onto us.

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE....

Oh, if you are looking for a boat to enjoy Sydney, why not buy this yacht, it is on the market, so let me know and I'll fix a good deal for you.... lol!!
