A lady who lunches

Today I had a lunchtime date with my 96 year old friend Anna. We enjoyed home-made carrot and parsnip soup and I had a freshly-made half sandwich of avocado and hummus at the south side's Glad Cafe, Shawlands. Wickedly Anna opted for a bowl of chips (most of which I ate). The premises has won architectural awards and has a great performance space as well.
