Closed due to geothermal instability.

Derelict Sunday:  This corner of Kuirau Park has been left derelict since 2004.  There was once a little Toot n Whistle miniature railway operating in this corner.  It had done so since the 1960's but the last owner closed it down when the ground started to heat up and big holes appeared in the ground.  The area is now ring fenced but you can walk inside and are advised to stick on the path.  No eruptions happened when I was there.  (Playing with the double exposure again)
