The Edge of the Wold

Morecambe Bay again

This time from the top of Arnside Knott as the sun sets in the cloud over the Irish Sea. What a relief to have a weekend free of rain after what felt like weeks of mild dampness  And being made of limestone, Arnside Knott is soon free of mud and puddles.

Last night was a visit to No 17, a place that never disappoints, and Eduardo generously treated us to our meal.  We had a gentle day today, with good company and plenty of laughs.  Wifie gave our visitors a session of Chi Gong, and I felt the benefits too as Gus and I walked up to the top of the Knott to see the sunset.

There's another shot on Flickr, while in the Extra there is a shot of the Bay Wolf.

On an altogether sadder matter, I was desperately sorry to read of Shadow Dancer's sudden passing.  Our hearts go out to you, Anni, at this devastating news, so soon too after the loss of your wonderful Mum Alma.
