Bird spy

Steve, Dave and Helen picked me up at our dock on Friday late afternoon via the handbuilt boat  "Helen Marie". I had been out to Balletone & Stretch, but spent most of the day at home . . . so the invitation was very welcome! As we rounded one of the corners on the Braden river I spied this Anhinga quite far away, on a dead tree branch over the river. I zoomed in with my Lumix DMC-FZ200 and liked what I saw. Hope you do too!

I want to apologize for not being very present here at the moment. I am not taking as many photos as I was and therefore I'm simply not here on blipfoto as much. I cannot see myself staying away entirely, but I don't think I will be posting as much either. Do not worry, everything is fine - but my attention has shifted. I am sure to return to blip this coming week when both of my sons and their wives come to visit for a few days. I am so very happy & excited about that! We will all enjoy a lovely community Thanksgiving outside, here in Florida at Lucas Boatworks : ) I'm really glad my sons will be here for that, what a treat .... Here is a link to last year's blip to give you an idea of what we are in for!

Please know I am very grateful for all of the friendships found and inspiration received here via the blipfoto community. xo Blessings to you & yours!
