The Pilgrims' Progress

I went to see the Summer Art Exhibition at The Pilgrims' School in Winchester this evening and was so impressed with all the beautiful work.
These are paintings by the boys in Year 6 which they did after visiting David Hockney's exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. Their initial sketches were done in the gardens around the school - I wonder what Mr Hockney would say - I hope he would be pleased at how his work has inspired these young artists and their lovely teacher and Head of Art Jane Jenner.
