Alfie and Whisper

A lovely surprise at work today when a friend and her two rescue Greyhounds popped in to visit and to drop off some Greyhound Rescue C cards.  Whisper (on the left) is the newest addition and is an old lady. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the office at first but after all the fuss she received and a few treats from her owner, she seemed reluctant to leave the warm and go out to brave the chilly outdoors.  

We had our first frost  this morning and there was a distinct chill factor.  Our rambling old office building took ages to warm up.
