From the steps of the Auckland Museum

Stayed in Auckland for Friday night, so I had a longish run this morning which in its early part took me past the Auckland Museum, only a minute or two before the sun actually appeared above the horizon.

The sky had been being colourfully dramatic throughout my run to that point. Much more red early on.

After completing some tasks, we then drove north and are here at the beach house for the next couple of days. The expanded deck, with steps down to the lower level, is finished, and the feeling from this wonderful area with super views over the bay is wonderful. Relaxing, yet energising.

Wandered around a little looking at places to plant this, dig that, shore up the other, clean that, get rid of the rubbish there, more dirt there .....
Enough to keep us both out of trouble for some time to come.
