Anatole's blips

Wandsworth-on-Thames

The borderline affordable high rise along the sea front seems to be limitless. It'll be donkey rides next!

In the foreground you have a foreshore 'nature reserve'. As a nod to the original riverside flora and fauna, the developers have caged in a 60' section of mud and planted it up with a little selection of reeds, yellow flag and docks, protected it with a galvanised steel grid and floating barrier to stop the frequent boats from washing it away. It's a nice touch and probably big enough to squeeze a Bittern in, but just a shame they could't have run it all down the waterfront.
