Windswept on the summit

Cloud over the tops, some wind and patches of rain. In West Highland terms this translates to gusty blasts of wind, rain and white out. It looked quite nice when we left the car park! Still the smile was genuine when we reached the top.

This is the top of Ben Vane 915m. A long plod up from the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Sometimes when the weather has been wet enough, there is a small loch an at the top - 'nuff said!
