Iconic

Whilst undertaking an errand that, as so often in Cambodia, was unsuccessful, I was able to experience the sights of Riverside before leaving again for a while.

Riverside presents the opposing characteristics of Phnom Penh within its microcosm: cultural heritage and striking architecture, child exploitation and poverty, fine dining and ice cream parlours, promenading Cambodian couples and tourists laden with bumbags, seediness and traffic fumes, fruit-laden carts and impromptu games of badminton.
