Weihnachtsmarkt...

with the lights switched on.

Long day.  In work at 7, and the first problem appeared at 3 minutes past.  I spent a good hour recreating the problem and discovered that it wasn't down to us.  And then the day just went a bit batshit crazy.  Suffice it to say, I was happy to get out of the office at 5.

It's G's Birthday today and we were out to dinner. A glass of sparkles, some good food with some bonkers decisions from the kitchen.  They had 8 side dishes - roasted squash, bratkartoffeln, coleslaw, grilled tomato, pepper salsa, sauce Bearnaise, and two others I've forgotten.  You order a main, you get all of them.  A bit beyond bonkers.

And now I'm home and blipping before going back downstairs to chill with the Birthday Girl for an hour.

Today's Blip is the Xmas Market from a bit of a different angle than last year.

Oh and I've just remembered.  A friend from Britain is convinced that a traditional German Xmas decoration is a candle in the shape of a monk eating sausages.  Everyone I've asked here has looked at me askance, as if I'm even more of a deviant that they thought possible.  I can find no evidence of such a thing, perhaps you know better??
