Bendy Earn

It was the Scottish Score Championship today at Pitmedden, just south of the Tay. Like Sparse Runner, we, too, would have preferred to be hillwalking. I had an OK run, but it was an uninspiring planned Score course that definitely favoured the fleet rather than the cunning. I didn't cross any fences where I shouldn't and did as well as I could in the circumstances. Afterwards we went up Castlelaw just to the northwest of the forest and had good views to the north and west. I liked the contrast between the farmland and the wilder hills to the north. They looked good with the first half decent snowfall of the autumn.
