Intercity

A long trek home today. I left Yarm in North Yorkshire at 2 pm for a short car trip to the station, then a train to York, and changed platforms at York rail station where this shot was taken. Then intercity to Kings Cross, a switch to the Underground, south on the Northern Line to London Bridge, local train to my nearest station, bus to the end of the road, and finally home at 7.30 pm.

I wish I had gone by car. It would probably have been quicker, and it would certainly have been more comfortable and less exhausting!
