Good timing

We arrived at the big craft fair at Wisley soon after it opened. Past experience has shown that if you don't arrive within 30 minutes of opening time you walk miles from the car park and it begins to get very crowded.
It is an excellent fair with very high quality crafts, the standard of workmanship reflected in the prices. I didn't buy much but it is good to admire everything and chat to the people who create these beautiful things. Normous was bored except when we came to woodworking stalls and also when we eventually arrived in the food tent. We bought sausages, chutneys and tiny Christmas cakes.
When we came out at 11am there were queues to get in and cars parked as far as the eye could see.
