Raffle prizes

Hubby and I attended a whisky tasting tonight, which was organised by the Ellon Rotary Club as a fundraiser for its youth projects. As I'm not at all partial to the stuff I offered to drive. It was an excellent evening and I learned a lot about Chivas Brothers, their connection to Ellon, and their shops in Aberdeen, one of which was still open until 1981. We used to ogle in its window when we were courting. It was called the Harrods of the North for nothing! These days the company sells 8 bottles of whisky a second across the globe.
