Watercolour

You wouldn't put  a duck out in this! Gales, heavy rain, general horribleness. I did have to go out nonetheless to purchase paint. Why are things never straight forward? Hepburn blue (or possibly green) was the clear favourite from yesterday's sample but we'd become side-tracked by two similar colours from Farrow and Ball. Yes, there was a stockist in Bantry, no they didn't actually stock the paint (only sensible creams and whites) but they could be ordered and would arrive by next friday. Far too long to wait. Sample sheets from Dulux found and brought back to Himself for consideration and two similar shades chosen. One alcove is now painted in Mindgames (too true) and is looking very bright. Will Lapis calm it all down - you'll have to wait until tomorrow for the next installment. It's certainly going to be different and replaces a rather tasteful beeswax with red accents (been reading far too many magazines). And who thinks of the names for these colours? I could have chosen Green Eggs and Ham ( florescent yellow); Exurbia (yellow) Absolutely Livid (purple) ,Duvet Day (dark blue) or Wolf Eyes ( a rather disappointing dull grey).
Edie's still on the sofa.

And don't forget Derelict Sunday tomorrow, DS6 already.
