Happy Thanksgiving!

My sisters in NH and NC invited us to their houses for Thanksgiving, but we opted to stick close to home. 

Holly, our Dalmatian was just diagnosed with Canine Cognitive Dysfunction (more on that later in a future post), and I was still reeling from it. We weren't in the mood to have our "Girls" boarded during the holiday weekend, so we made reservations at General Warren Inne Restaurant for our Thanksgiving meal.

Though we're a somewhat lonesome couple, we're an extremely grateful one. We really have a nice life going. We enjoy being together. We have our good health, our nice home, our "Girls" whom we adore with all our hearts and souls, our memories of our loved ones, our plans, hopes and dreams for our future. 

By the way, my dessert was a pear crumble and Newby had a sweet potato pudding, which was surprisingly good, despite being a starch vegetable...
