Davis Cup tennis victory for GB

For the first time since 1936 Great Britain have won the Davis Cup - what an achievement, particularly by the two brothers Andy and Jamie Murray, who won the doubles yesterday, Andy also winning two singles. The match today, which was Andy versus David Goffin of Belgium was of a tremendous standard. Andy eventually won in three straight sets, but it was very, very, close at times, and a long match.

Some people moan about Andy and don't like him. I think he's a lovely modest chap who just gets a bit too worked up on the court sometimes. And, in him, we have someone who has won Olympic Gold, the US Open, Wimbledon - and now the Davis Cup. I don't think we have anything to complain about. Here's to another great year for Andy!

And today is Advent Sunday, so a special day all round!
