The Old Forge (Thursday 26th November 2015)

When I spoke to my neighbours it transpired that the reason for all the extensive work done upstairs in the recent weeks had unfortunately been because of leaks and damp that they'd found to be endemic in the bathroom and beyond. I had a further note from them when I got back from Somerset to say that they'd now discovered a further leak stemming from the chimney, and so  more scaffolding was in the offing.

This time a different team of scaffolders put up the construction on their front wall, at the side of the driveway, and I took this snap from my upstairs front bedroom.

It was a dull, wet day mostly spent moving shelving and their contents and working through the previous day's pictures.
