Runway 05 at GVA

An electric taxi took me to my plane this morning.

The inbound flight from Edinburgh arrived very early blown along by Atlantic storm Clodagh.

We fared less well as we had to fly into it and 15 minutes were added to our two hour flight.

The cloud base at Geneva airport was down to parts of the runway as we took off.

Descending into Edinburgh we had one of the bumpiest landings I can remember at Edinburgh. A little girl in the seat behind me had a panic attack, brilliantly managed by her father.
But her shouts of "We are going to crash and all be killed" were not conducive to a completely stress free landing.

Many passengers applauded the pilots' skills as we touched down.

Great to be home in time for the Portobello's Eve of St Andrews Day Great Coastal Ceilidh. Tiggy enjoyed accompanying the dances on her violin as part of the Fun Fiddle group's participation.
