Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Busy

Busy day.   Lunch with good friends.  At a little before 5 I decided I had an hour to restart an online chat with Adobe to resolve some lightroom issues.   Well, TWO hours later, bhimansh had moved things all over my laptop screen, sometimes more than once, but I think it’s all fixed!!   H was very patient (and hungry)  So I have no computer time left in me.. this is going to rrepresent the day - a trip to our favorite hardware store (thru the window.) Lots of xmas decorations being bought.  Ugh.  There are always plenty of people in red who are VERY helpful!  And it’s senior discount day!

I do want to mention my Book Arts Guild meeting I went to last night.  Especially to any Portland blippers.   Laura Russell, book artist and gallery owner brought a good portion of her  current show  at 23 Sandy Gallery, Portland up to Seattle….a trunk show. … some beautiful artist’s books with the theme of “Blood Quantum” —and international juried show on “ancestry, identity, heritage, family history and our personal cultural narrative”  I love that  the books are not in a glass case and we get to hold them in our hands and look through them — Inspired as always, to get on with the family books I have planned.   If you’re interested and have the time,  it’s well worth looking..til Dec. 19.   (there’s a full online catalog at www.23sandy.com/works/bloodq)

Now I’ve got to get horizontal with a book!  Catch up tomorrow..
