Processing

Our 13 new animals were 'welcomed' to the farm this morning.  This means a few vaccinations and being branded - the painful bit.  The welcome has included some lovely food for them which they have been gobbling down all morning, so life isn't quite so bad.... once they are over the branding. 

Everyone was out today, so I have been home alone with the boy, clearly he thought this was far too much fun as there was near melt-down at (an earlier than normal) bed time due to a lack of any sleep of note during the day and a 5am start.
