Girl's night

Littlest one had her bff round for an evening of girl stuff. Which had, amongst other things, dress up time, practicing songs, makeovers, and blindfolded makeovers. And then the sparkles and glitter came out, and the boys in the house had to run for cover.

All good fun though, and wonderful to see the carefree spirit of youth running free, just how it should be. 

Can't help thinking that elsewhere in the world there are young kids who's existence is at this very moment an intensely different affair.
