Blown away!

Well almost!

Spotted this Collared Dove doing its best to perch on the fence ..... the wind was gusting so strongly that it almost blew him/her off! The poor thing was scrabbling to get a grip.

Mind you ..... as the latest news shows ..... we have been very lucky. We have had the gale force winds .... but luckily we have avoided the flooding ....... unlike parts of Cumbria. My heart goes out to all those affected ..... may you stay safe.

On a different subject .......
