Moth

Most of the moths I see are light beige so this one was a surprise. The nearest ID I can get is carpet moth, one of the looper moths. The leaf is a very early scarlet runner bean from a root that survived the winter. Will it be consumed by looper caterpillars?

It was very lively and gave me only one shot. I would have loved to get a close-up of that intricate pattern.
