White-eared Bulbul(Pycnonotus leucotis)

A new bird that is apparently not as common as the White-spectacled Bulbul, but one that is rapidly spreading. He came down to the waters edge to have a drink. The extra photo today is Cat Rock and this is just out from the harbour entrance. I hope you can see why it is called that name! The rock is where the Osprey lives and where there are now lots of Cormorants and Sooty gulls. Another great location for bird watching, although it is very hard from the boat to get a steady shot.
