In a hurry

Water hurrying down the Water of Leith towards the sea. One of the extras is taken just around the corner from here, just after I set off from home. The other extra shows the five other Belles who made it out on what turned out to be a lovely day for the bike ride. They are admiring the spate at the Water of Leith visitor centre when we stopped to use the facilities.

We made it up to Currie - where this was taken - through mud and one or two obstacles necessitating a detour, and then back down through Heriot Watt, under the bypass, along the tram route, finally to Loudons for some much deserved tea and snacks.

Once home, Mr A (whom I'm happy to see back and reconstructing his journal) and I discussed our respective investments in Blipfuture. I think it is cool that this place will finally be community owned. It will always be niche, and it might be more expensive than other photo sharing sites, but it will definitely be worth it. I'm in.
