Lake Titicaca - Copacabana, Bolivia

The Bolivia side of Lake Titicaca is even nicer than the Peru side. We spent a few nights in the town of Copacabana and then a few night on Isla del Sol, the biggest island in the lake.

Copacabana has a really good vibe to it with bars and restaurants looking out over the lake. We also climbed the small mountain next to the town for an exceptional sunset, one evening.

We arrived on the more populated south part of Isla del Sol and then hiked the four hours to the north part of the island, taking in some breathtaking views along the way, where we spent two nights in a small village. The village was extremely quiet and seemed to have more donkeys and pigs than people. There were some great walks around the north part of the island and two nice beaches either side of the village.

Having chilled out for the last few days with the tranquility of the lake, today we're heading to La Paz where once again we'll be reunited with Alan and Duffy for what is sure to be a big weekend.
