Fresh as a daisy

Good to see new flowers just opening at any time of year, but especially in December, except of course it's worrying that the climate is warming up.

This is Schizostylis coccinea 'Wilfred H. Bryant' , a beautiful flower of the very palest blush, almost white.

These south African plants are now to be known as Hesperantha, apparently, which I suppose is easier to pronounce!

My daughter tells me that the ferry in my extra picture of 28th November is not the 'Isle of Mull', but the 'Clansman'! I thought something wasn't quite right - well spotted Em!
