Seattle Great Wheel

This picture taken from the "Seattle Great Wheel" was actually taken on 6/30/12. Post processing did not occur until 7/1/12, and this is my very first entry to my blipfoto account.

My image was taken on the second day of operation. Tickets run $13 for about a 20 minute ride which includes about three revolutions of the wheel. Each of the gondola cars can accommodate about six adults, and each car has heating and AC. A great attraction with a wonderful new view of the Seattle waterfront.

The owners hope to run the attraction year round.
