I used to go to this Polish cafe ages ago when it first opened.  Someone I used to support would love to go there for coffee and sometimes some dumplings.  They seem to have undergone some changes since then but it's good to see them doing well.  The owner is a stand-up guy working all the hours but when he's not, volunteering at a homeless shelter (or something like that.  I can't remember)
Most of the day at work was spent making and writing Christmas cards for all the Garvald workshops (30+ including receptions and managers!)  It was nice to spend a day getting folk working on a project that is simply done out of being nice.
