Bedtime

Up early for the normal Monday routine and suddenly discovered Angie had not left the house as normal at 5:30. She had been feeling rough yesterday and so it turned out she got worse during the night.

Angie off to the doctor while I walked the dogs and got some spare parts for the repairs I need to do on the Jeeps towbar wiring. As regular readers will know, I now nothing about electricity except what it costs.when it comes from the electricity company.

Was forced to cut off all the wires which were soldered in the socket which could not be repaired, certain plastic bits jhaving broken and causing the blown fuses. Was then faced with 15 wires, a new socket with 13 holes and a colour code chart which didn't look anything like the colours of my wires.

In panic drove down to the local car dealer/garage, to ask the owner if he could just help me identify or show me how to identify the wires. He didn't get up from his seat simply replying he never touched tobar wiring always using a specialist, as he didn't understand them either. As a matter of fact the specialist would probably be coming by later or tomorrow and he would give me a ring.

Back home and a bit depressed I searched the web, full of information but not identical. Hope the call comes soon.

On visiting the geese as sunset, almost got them to go in by themselves. One climbed the ramp and had a look inside but the others walked away and it then followed. So had to herd them in a bit later. Blip was taken when it was very dark and with the mobile hence the even worse than usual quality.
