Pico do Arieiro

The second highest peak on the island of Madeira (1810 metres) and we had it with clear and spectacular views.

The path leading down and then up again is the two peaks walk. I'm not fit enough for that one yet.

We had a tour of the island, the understandably most popular one - to Monte, Camacha, the Pico, Ribeira Frio (with a short section of levada walk) and then Santana, lunch at Faial, Machico and home.

A little tired, I think a glass of Blandy's Rainwater is called for
