RPS Biennial Members Exhibition

... on at the Civic Gallery in Barnsley until mid January.   Well worth going to see - some very varied and inspired photographs in the exhibition.  I took the opportunity to visit over lunchtime when I went to pick Ann up from the Christmas Barnsley Writers lunch.  They'd spent their morning in the exhibition and then had lunch in the restaurant.  We then headed for the hospital to get Ann's results from the biopsy.  GOOD NEWS - there was no sign of the cancer in any of the samples they took so everyone was so pleased, the surgeon, oncologist and nurses.  (They are so lovely there and they've been an amazing team.)  There's still a way to go - radiotherapy for three weeks after Christmas and hormone treatment for 5 years on top of the Herceptin.  They've all said how important they think Ann's positive attitude has been too - she's been quite remarkable really.

It was lovely to come home to a warm house and glowing fire.
