Moggy Turf War!

Today the ginger cat that regards our yard as his territory (and let's face it he has a point since Minstrel doesn't go out there!) was wandering around when he noticed he was being watched by a bristling, tail wagging Minstrel from our kitchen window. Ginge appeared to find Minsty's hisses and window-tapping amusing, especially when Minstrel knocked the spider plant to the floor and made himself jump!

Minstrel came into the back room and jumped onto the table where his bed is, and Ginger came too - onto the windowsill by the table. He sat very calmly watching as Minst went insane, eventually getting irked enough to hiss and bat at the window from outside.

I stroked Minstrel to reassure him but didn't want to move him away in case he saw it as letting the ginger one win! Ginge ran away when Brian went out to put his Friday lunch chip papers in the bin!

In this shot Minstrel looks bigger than Ginger, but he's less than half his size really. Minstrel is a very small cat, I wouldn't fancy his chances if he went out! But he is a very sweet cat and he's my cat!
