Brotherly Love

Today we went over to see Jeri, Adam and the boys, but we didn't go straight to their home as today was the day of the village Santa Run in aid of the preschool which all 3 grandsons have attended. Theo is still there. Jeri helped organise it, and Adam and the boys took part.

It was a fantastic, festive occasion in the beautiful setting of Woodland Waters in Ancaster (Now earmarked for future Blipping visits!)

Horatio, my eldest grandson won, completing the run in around 9 minutes, closely pursued by a couple of girls (as I suspect he will be for years to come!)

The photo I have chosen for my Blip shows Horatio and middle grandson Malachi having their own Brownlee Brothers moment when H went to encourage his brother, who was slowing down and risking being pipped for 4th place by another little girl.

I've included some extras showing the start of the run, a cute puppy who was one of several festively clad doggie participants in the event, and the medals that were given to each (human) entrant.

Afterwards we went back to Jeri's for food and to admire their Christmas decs and have a catch-up!

On the way home we saw Zeph, my oldest son too as we had a parcel to drop in to him. He will be home on Saturday for a few weeks as it will be the start of the off season of his job!
