Underneath the mistletoe last night

Well it's normally my birthday treat to decorate the tree but yesterday was too full of cinema and radio Leicester City so today we put on the Christmas songs and got to work on our beautiful branches. There's something so lovely about the smell from the fresh pine. I always keep my tree in the conservatory so that it keeps cool but it also has the added bonus of the smell every time you open the door.
For the first time Miniman got to put the star on the top and then we turned on the lights. It doesn't get any less magical for me than when I was little. I just love Christmas
