Fiddle-dee-di

A fabulous night out with friends to Ashby-de-la-Zouch was the finalé in my Birthday celebrations. What a laugh! A Thai meal was followed by a visit to a local bar (with a dance floor) to boogie into the early hours. At first glance when we walked through the door was 'is this a gay bar?' There were loads of blokes and almost no women but it transpired that the women were at the dance floor/garden/toilets and hall way. Much as some of the music wasn't really my 'cup of tea' we were still there. Highlight of the night had to be Marie (designated driver) river-dancing! God only knows what she's like when she's had a drink. Best night out I've had in a long time.
