The wonders of technology

I bought this at the weekend from Amazon for 20GBP and it arrived today. 4GB! How cool is that. So much space on something so small!!! I have just flicked up the 'Copying' screen and the technology is so advanced that the computer can not cope with it, it said....'time remaining 156mins, then 88 mins, then 45 mins then 125 mins..... I am only copying over 2.6 GB on to the stick!

I am told that they are doing 8GB memory stick.... or flash pen (what ever you want to call it) for 40GBP. Still a bargin. I am thinking of changing my name to queen of the bargins because I am good at scouting them out. But then simply the best covers all eventualities.

One of my husbunds subordinates lodged a grievence against him today. Git. She said that she had been victimised. She was being told off for things that she had not done and the doctor had signed her off for stress. In her letter she stated that she became used to the environment and so she did not have the time off. 6 months later the doctor has signed her off with depression! That is her own stupid fault for not having the time off in the first place. Not to mention the fact that she had a stupid bleader of a boyfriend that does not work and she keeps remortgaing her house to give him money! Some people don't think past their own little worlds, she is not thinking of the knock on effect this might have on other peoples lives and careers and families. She is looking to be paid off rather than stay working and eventually be sacked for the 3rd time in the same company! Why they re-hired her we will never know!!!

Ho hum, on the same money note about people only thinking about themselves.... I really dislike people that pull up in their cars right behind you when blatently you have stoped with your indicator light and reverse lights on to parallel park!!!! Silly people not thinking!
