John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City have decorated the neo-Georgian facade of the former Welwyn Stores with a simple net of plain white flashing lights. It's so effective. Less is more. Sort of reminiscent of a gentle snow storm. Lovely when viewed between other buildings from a distance.
