Winter Roses

'Tis the season…
Wrestling the Christmas tree into the house
Keeping the dogs away from the decorations
Trying to figure out why the lights won't light
Making gingerbread houses
Hunting for the candles that look like Christmas trees
Heavy rain
Intermittent sunshine
Creeping fog that disappears as fast as it came
Hothouse poinsettias 
Garlands of greenery
It's easy to forget that there are still some flowers in the garden
I especially like these roses in various stages on the same plant.
