My Little Christmas Tree

Christmas has arrived at the Cosy Cottage. Purchased this gorgeous Norwegian spruce from the village store. She's 42" tall and fits in my fireplace with a height of 51".

Decorated my tree with traditional gold and red while listening to the last couple of hours of The Martian audio book! All ideas of getting into the festive spirit watching a Christmas movie went out the window as the gripping narrative of the astronaut on the red planet enthralled me. I can't wait to see the movie now!

Tomorrow I'll be finishing decorations, writing the last few cards and wrapping presents before hosting lunch for a couple of the girls. I'll make up for tonight and put The Holiday on the telly.
