'Garden Party'

Super busy day again today as this is our last weekend in Melbourne before heading off to Tassie next Saturday.

First stop for me was up to the kids school to pick up the guinea pigs cage and drop it off to Mum's house. She's be baby sitting them while we're away. Back to pick up Dylan from Judo, but then Dylan was invited around to his friend Lucians house to play for the afternoon. MsMun took Bella to Cooper's (a school friends) birthday party and then headed up the road to Panton Hill for an early Summer Solstice party. We hosted the Winter Solstice party at our house, then we had an Equinox party at some other friends and today was Jill & Warwicks turn to host. They've recently bought an old house in Panton Hill with a fabulous block of land and have started to renovate.

Meanwhile I drove out to Bayswater to pick up a new 2 person hiking tent to take away with us next weekend and then picked up Dylan and we headed over to join the others at the party. The weather was just perfect this afternoon although it did cool down a fair bit late in the day. No breeze of mosquitos which was awesome.

Took this shot from out of a second floor window in their house looking down on the garden party (this is half the crew, kids inside watching a movie on Netflix). The extra shot is from a ground level view, all looking very serious whatever they we're discussing at the time.

Thanks so much to Jill & Warwick for having us all around. All of the kids took off and we hardly saw them all afternoon.

Another end of year party to attend tomorrow........to be continued.
