Frosty Morning

A thick frost in Argyll this morning with beautiful cold sunshine

There were a few last remnants of autumn still showing like this rose hip or haw which this morning looked more like a hurrying octopus than the lantern of Heaney's wonderful poem though my breath  did "plume in the frost".
