Departure, finally

A view of the Khangai Mountains (highest point: 4008m) on departure from Ulaanbaatar.  Nice to be on the way after a 6.5 hour delay occasioned, apparently, by the need for the arriving flight to return to Moscow shortly after take-off to unload an unruly passenger - and then losing more time by having to circle for an hour or so while the fog cleared over the airport at Ulaanbaatar.  End result: an early morning flight back home turned into a 13-hour journey with a glimpse of the mountains as compensation.
